How to: Create a new blank database.
Solution:
If Access has not been started yet, select the 'Blank Database' radio button in the startup dialog box. If Access is already open, use the 'New Database...' command under the 'File' menu.

a) Select the 'File' menu and select 'New Database...'. (The New dialog box appears.)

b) Select 'Blank Database'. (The Blank Database icon is highlighted.)
c) Click 'OK'. (The File New Database dialog box appears.)

3) Select the drive where the new database is to be saved from the 'Save in' drop-down list.
4) Select the folder to contain the new database from the 'Save in' list box.
5) Type the name for the new database in the 'File name' drop-down list box.
6) Click 'OK'. (A blank new database appears on the screen.)
